He was the eldest son of Kuruvilla Kochukuruvilla. His father Pothen Kuruvilla is the founder  Chanaganacherry Olassa family. There is a shrine at Changanacherry Angadi  is in the name of Angel  Mikhael. He was born on the feast day of Angel  Mikhael .Hence  his parents christened him Mikhael. This name was not a hereditable name in Olassayil family. He had his education  prevailing in those days. He managed hereditament .He married from Thayyil family of Champakulam. He had twelve children . He practiced naturopathay .He prepared medicines with the help of Tamil medical books .He was very fluent in Tamil language .He was fond of chemistry. This led to innocuous innovations. He tried to refine  low quality metals  to get gold, silver out of it.  He had a muslim  assistant for this otiose invention. It is not known how far he succeeded in this venture.He was residing  at Pandakasala  Olassayil hose with his family .His brother  Mathai  inherited hereditament  house. Mathai  expired without having any offspring .Hence Kochu Kuruvilla Mikhael  got all the hereditament property  .Later many of the properties were sold out
