- In 1960 secured job in Government service and worked in Vaikom High School
- Married Lizy, Puthenangady, Vaikom, on 26 November 1962
- Later appointed as AEO in Mattanchery
- Was Head Master in Mundakayam, Kanjirappally schools
- Retired from service on 30 March 1988
