Eldest son of O P Chandy.He was born in 1907. His father O P Chandy expired at the younger age of O C Philip.Hence he could not complete his matriculation. For livelihood he opted agriculture and planted coconut plants in his inherited property and earned profit in due course. Simultaneously he was appointed as a Manager of  a Rubber estate in Thodupuzha. He married Theresiamma of Thavalthil family of Changanacherry.

     Later he undertook  P W D contract and earned a good profit from this.His injured left leg and was amputated in Bombay hospital. He  survived  with an artificial left leg.He could not prolong with this .He had to use a pair of crutches after the amputation of his left leg.He  took five acres of land of Changanacherry Municipality on lease  for five years and planted tapioca. This venture was a great success in his life. He reconstructed his ancestor family house to a modern house. Ignoring his handicap he worked hard and led his life with success. He expired on 26 September 1966.

     His only daughter Mary was married to Manalil family of Muttar.
