Married Claramma, Attavelil, Alappuzha in 1950 After completing school studies, joined SB college in 1938 for further studies and he was the first batch of Travancore University formed by C.R Ramaswamy Iyer Joined Birla Engineering College, Pilani in 1942 for Navel Engineering but had to discountinue studies  due to adverse climatic conditions and sickness. Later he entered into umbrella business and started a firm by name OLAZA BROTHERS in 1948 and started manufacturing of Umbrellas. He continued in this business till he expired on 28 May 2013. He was President of Olassa Kudumbayogam 1987,1988,2002 and Kudumba Charithram was published while he was the President.
