He was the second son of O P Chandy. He passed his matriculation from S B High School. He too was a born artist and a singer. He was a stage actor during his studies in S B High School .At the age of twenty two he married Annamma of Thavalathil family of Changanacherry.He worked in N C John’s company in Alapuzha for about five years. He then left the job and started an industry in Changanacherry. It did not do well and he rejoined N C John’s company at Eranakulam. Simultaneously he took contract of transferring goods to ships from shore to high seas by hiring motorized boats. In due course he owned his own boats and continued this business till 1958. He then started his own company; Arabian Sea Foods and started exporting shrimp to foreign countries. Due to his hard work and enthusiasm he could succeed all his ventures. He accompanied His Excellency Joseph Cardinal Parekattil to attend his investiture ceremony held at Rome in 1969. He was appointed as a member of shrimp exporting commission by Govt.of india in 1970. He visited Malaya, Hongkong,Australia,Singapore and Japan. Due to the hectic tour, his health deteriorated day by day and. following an operation he expired on 03 October 1972. He had ten children:
