Son of OM Thomas and Eethamma, was born on 28 Jan 1946. On course completion of, PUC from SB College enrolled in Indian Air Force 1964. Undergone training for 52 weeks at Ground Training School, Air Force Station, Jalahalli, Bangalore. On passing out he was promoted to Acting Corporal Rank.  Substantive rank was confirmed to him on passing Corporal Education test on completion of five years of service.   Served at various Air Bases of Indian Air Force as a Non Commissioned officer in charge of Security/counterintelligence (IAF Police) Participated in Indo-Pakistan War and Bangladesh Liberation War 1965, 1971 respectively. Received commendation from Chief of Air Staff of Indian Air Force for trade Proficiency and Exemplary character. Air Force Corporal education test passed and this qualification is equivalent to PUC.examination.and is approved by almost all the Universities of India.Hence he could directly appear for the degree course.For further promotion, in IAF he passed Sergent examination test within the specified period( ( 6th year ) in first chance itself. But for the promotion to the rank of Sergent waiting period was five years.Then he decided to take voluntary retirement with pensionable service.

Undergone 52 weeks of special training at Air Force Station /Infantry unit of Indian Army Jorhat, Assam in handling of all  types Weapons including firing, Interrogation of Prisoners of War, Prevention and detection of Sabotage, Provost duties, Passive Air Defence, armed/unarmed         

Combat, swimming, Security and counter-intelligence, driving of all types vehicles including articulated vehicles /motorcycle, controlling of Prisoners of war/Refugees and stragglers, submission of accident reports, security of personnel information/materials, Investigation reports etc. Physical fitness training during an entire career in Indian Air Force to withstand the rigorous training/high altitude inclement weather. Received nine awards and medals from Indian Air Force during the service.

During the Air Force Service graduated from Punjab University B A,(English, Public Administration, Political Science, Military Science,

Criminology, Chandigarh (UT). Member, West Bengal Rifle Club, Midanpur - Ace Shooter/Skeet Range Shooter. Retired from Indian Air Force 1979 after fulfilling the conditions of enrolment (Pensionable). Conducted Bus Service in the name of Dhannya and Remmya- Changanacherry - Kottayam route 1980 – 1996. PTA president of St Peter’s High School, Kurumpandom 1992 -1996. Trustee of Assumption church, Kurumpandom, four tenure.

Introduced  Watertec Systems( MMalaysia  Pvt Ltd, world Class bathroom fittings, and accessories in Kerala Market 1996. Distributor for Watertec Systems(I) Pvt Ltd for southern districts of Kerala  1996- 2011. Distributor for  Hunter Mosquito Swatter Bats & Mosquito Killers for the above districts of Kerala.Watertec company started direct marketing of their products he discontinued its distribution and joined with Leo Taps & fittings and doing a good business of this company.He made market for Watertec Systems(I) in Kerala.

 Married to  Marykutty Dominic, daughter of K T Dominic/Annamma of Kurishumoottil, Kanjirappally on 15 Jan 1976.

He  has daughter Claire Michael and a son Toms Michael  

He expired in 2018 due to sickness
