• Settled in Cherukarakkunnu, and engaged in Agriculture right from his young age
• He was the President of Umbizhichirakkara Christian residents for many years
• His house and major portion of his property were taken over for expansion of Kollam, Ernakulam Railway Line
• He died on 16^th November 1955 
• His wife expired on 1st august 1961

Elder son of Varghese Thomma. He got married  from Kandamkary family of Changanacherry. He too was an agriculturist. From agribusiness he earned good wealth and he was interested in social work too. He was  President of Umbizhichira association for many years.  For expansion of Kollam -, Ernakulam Railway Line, Southern Railway acquired almost all his land including his house  . Govt.of India paid compensation  for the acquired land. But this incident was a worry for hom in his old age and  he expired on 16 November 1955. .His brother Rev Fr Philip Olassayil conducted the sacred-rite of funeral and buried him in  Changanachery Church.His wife expired on 01 August 1961.
