It is with great pleasure, pride and joy I write these brief introductory notes about our family.After the publication of Olassa Kudumba Charitram in 2003, now we have come out with our family web site www.olassakudumbam.com.These two valuable work depict the origin of our family,historical events, our ancestors and generations thereafter. Our Olassa family has a rich heritage and noble tradition which have never been broken or tarnished during all these 200 years of our inception. Our Kudumba Sanghadana was established in the year 1964 by the late O C Varghese,Professor.

I am glad to note that our Olasail Kudumbha Sanghadana has surpassed many other similar associations. The late O C Varghese, Professsor as the first President , our Olasail Kudumbha Sanghadana is now in its Fifty First year. The Late O V Varghese, Advocate compiled all details of various branches of our family with authentic records and this was the first manuscript, out of which the present beautiful printed family history book was born. The manuscript of this book, the late O V Varghese, Advocate has written on our family history is compendious.

Our Olasail family owes a great debt of gratitude to the meritorious services of Mr Philip P Olassa, Engineer. ln spite of his busy time in Keltron as a General Manager, he found time to compile this valuable family history book during a brief period. l was then the Secretary of Olasail Kudumbha Sanghadana and all the members of our family collaborated with Mr. Philip P Olessa in his stupendous work of editing this book. l along with all members of Olassa fraternity thank him for his efforts in this venture.
